Yumiko's Terrace - Limited Edition Print

"Yumiko's Terrace" was painted with black ink and aquarelles on 300gsm paper as part of the "Stacked:Japan"-series and the reproductions of this original artwork are limited to 33 printed editions in DinA4, handsigned and numbered. (see pictures)

Motive
As the sun slowly sets, warm light fills Yumiko's Terrace and creates a peaceful atmosphere above the busy city. Visitors are gathering to enjoy the view, sharing conversations, drinks, and have quiet moment while overlooking the bustling streets below. Flowers and well maintained greenery give the terrace a welcoming character, making it a favorite place to spend the evening in a city where nature is almost reduced to a bare minimum. Above the noise of the city, the terrace feels calm and relaxed, offering a perfect spot to watch the day come to an end.

In Stacked: Japan I draw imaginary cityscapes that contrast traditional japanese architecture, futuristic buildings and technology that create a detailed micro-world with different areas to explore on your own.
I started this art series in late 2025 inspired by the contrast of traditional and modern japanese architecture that I could experience on a trip to Japan earlier this year.

This edition is printed with high quality ink on 250gsm high quality, structured Torchon paper and every print is handsigned, titled and signed by me.
